What Is At The Heart Of A Good Article
By Nelson Tan
Article writing and marketing has already proven to be a boon for many Internet marketers who can turn their articles into immense traffic generators. They do not have to write lots of them, but by nailing popular keywords that readers tend to search for and submitting them to multiple article directories, they can amass anywhere between a few hundreds to thousands of targeted visitors per day! The problem is for some marketers, writing is a colossal challenge that is near-impossible to overcome, but I think it's a matter of having the right mindset to write quality articles that make readers look you up as an expert. We have to first address the main purpose of writing articles, which is to inform. This alludes to the question of intention: what do you want your readers to do after reading them? Now even in a well established article directory like Ezine Articles, authors submit product reviews or any content disguised as ads. The first intention is to get readers to buy, and I think this has a short-lived impact if the authors focus more on the product which they sell as affiliates rather than the problem. Perhaps it would be better to direct readers to your website where they can subscribe into your mailing list so you can build relationships with them. That way, you get to 'keep' your readers rather than 'lose' them to the merchant. An article that informs truly has a heart of concern for the well-being of the readers. Readers are not stupid when they can sense you don't seem to know your topic. At least, you must have some above-average understanding and especially empathy for your readers' needs. If ever you're going to write an article, you'd better get off on a right footing. Churning out cheap writings is as good as a waste of time. Hopefully you should get an idea what I'm driving at: quality prevails over quantity. Articles best contain classic, timeless information in order to stay relevant years from now and still be able to captivate readers' attention. It certainly means that you need not hire an expensive content writer and still develop a skill to write fruitfully without worrying about advertising too directly. |

I am a little amused here. You conclude your Intel with "quality prevails over quantity" which is something I agree with and then you include a link to: 111,107 articles For only ONE Dollar!
